SOPING is an online store for computers, IT equipment, large home appliances and small appliances. It is based in Čačak and has been delivering across Serbia since 2024, by courier within two to five working days. BCILITY designed and built the store and its Android app, and the store's footer credits us as the developer.
The problem with selling technical products online
People buying a laptop or a washing machine compare specifications. A catalogue with thousands of products only helps them if they can narrow it down to a handful quickly, see what is actually in stock, and pay the way they are used to paying in Serbia. The store is built around those three things.
What we built
- A large, structured catalogue. Fifteen top-level categories in a mega-menu. At the time of writing, the offer page lists more than 15,000 products.
- Specification filters in every category. Price range, availability and brand, plus technical attributes such as screen size, operating system, resolution, SSD capacity and number of CPU cores. Results can be sorted by relevance, price, name or newest.
- Stock that is visible at a glance, with labels such as "in stock", "last item" and "only N left".
- A PC configurator. Twelve component slots for building a computer part by part.
- Accounts or guest checkout, a saved-items list and a newsletter signup.
- Serbian payment methods. Card payments through Raiffeisen with 3-D Secure (the footer shows Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and DinaCard), IPS QR payments, and cash on delivery.
- An Android app, published on Google Play.
Technology
The store is built with Next.js, serves responsive images from its own CDN and sits behind Cloudflare. The storefront is in Serbian, in Latin script.
